Your First Step

One honest conversation.
That's all this is.

No commitment. No cost. No pressure to be ready for anything. Just a call where you say what you're carrying, out loud, to someone who understands it from the inside.

If you've made it to this page, something in you has already decided. You may not feel it yet — it might be a whisper under all the noise, easy to talk yourself out of. But you didn't land here by accident.

Here's what I've watched happen hundreds of times: a grieving person hovers over this exact step for months. Sometimes years. They tell themselves they'll reach out when it gets bad enough, or when they've pulled themselves together enough, or when they can explain it better. And the whole time, they're carrying it alone — not because help wasn't there, but because reaching for it felt like one more thing they didn't have the strength for.

So let me make this as small as I possibly can. One conversation. You don't prepare for it. You don't perform in it. You don't have to know what you want or where to start. You show up as you are, and I'll take it from there.

Before You Pick Up the Phone

What this call is — and what it isn't

Most people hesitate because they don't know what they're walking into. So here it is, plainly.

What it is

A conversation

  • Thirty minutes, by phone or video, whichever feels easier
  • Completely free, with nothing to buy at the end of it
  • Space to say the things you've been editing out for everyone else
  • An honest read on whether I'm the right person to walk with you — and if I'm not, I'll tell you who might be
  • Held by someone with the training and the lived experience of profound loss
What it isn't

Not a sales pitch

  • Not a script, an intake form, or a clipboard across the room
  • Not a test you can fail or a loss you have to justify
  • Not therapy, and not a replacement for it
  • Not a place where you'll be asked to "let go," "move on," or find the silver lining
  • Not a decision point — you can hang up and think about it for a month
How It Goes

Three steps, and the first one is the hardest

You reach out

Fill in the form below, send an email, or call. Two sentences is plenty — you don't owe me your whole story before we've even spoken. I'll reply personally, usually within a day.

We talk

Thirty minutes. You tell me what happened and what it's been like since. I listen the way I wish someone had listened to me. Then I'll tell you honestly what I think would help — coaching, a circle, a retreat, or something else entirely.

You decide — in your own time

No follow-up pressure, no countdown, no scarcity games. If you want to begin, we begin. If you need to sit with it, sit with it. Either way you'll hang up having been fully heard, and that alone is worth the half hour.

Say It Out Loud

The reasons you're about to close this page

I've heard every one of these. Not one of them disqualifies you.

"I wouldn't even know what to say."

Then say that. "I don't know where to start" is a complete and honest opening, and it's the one I hear most. Finding the words is my job, not your entry fee.

"It's been years. It's too late for me."

Grief doesn't expire, and neither does the help. Some of the most profound shifts I've witnessed came from people carrying a loss for a decade or more. Time alone doesn't heal it — what you do inside the time does.

"Other people have it so much worse."

You don't have to be bad enough to deserve support. If you loved it and you lost it, you're grieving, and your grief deserves the same care as anyone's. No qualifiers required. Full stop.

"I should be able to handle this myself."

You've been handling it. That's exactly why you're this tired. Reaching out isn't weakness — it's the single bravest and smartest thing a grieving heart can do. You wouldn't set a broken bone alone. Your heart deserves the same.

"I'm not ready."

Nobody is. Ready isn't a feeling that arrives before you act — it's one that shows up somewhere in the middle. And this call asks nothing of you but thirty minutes and the truth.

"I don't know if I can afford it."

The call itself is free, so you can find out what's possible before money enters the conversation. When it does, I'll be straightforward about options — and I'll never sell you something you don't need.

The people who find their light again aren't the ones who waited the longest, or grieved the hardest, or were strongest on their own. They're the ones who decided, on some perfectly ordinary day, that they were worth helping.

Today can be that ordinary day

From My Heart to Yours

You've survived what you thought you couldn't survive

Now let's do more than survive. I have never once stopped believing in the light inside a grieving heart — including yours, including today, including on the days you can't feel it at all.

It was never extinguished. Let's go find it.
